Every bathroom is different. These are the choices that affect the price the most.
Leaving the toilet, tub and basin where they are is the single biggest saving available to you, and it's very often the right call. Moving them opens up new possibilities when the room really calls for it.
A tub-to-shower conversion within the existing footprint is the most contained option, and a favourite for good reason. If you have the floor space for both a tub and a walk-in shower, that opens up too.
Tile is priced by the area it covers and the detail involved in laying it. Large-format porcelain gives you a clean, contemporary look for less, while mosaic and feature niches are where the craftsmanship goes.
Older Manchester homes sometimes hide cast-iron waste lines or a soft subfloor. It's very common, and we look for it during the survey so it's priced in from the start.
The same layout can be built to very different budgets, and this is the part you have the most control over. It's also the most enjoyable part to choose.
Moving plumbing or electrical work usually calls for a permit and an inspection. We build that into the schedule, so the timeline you're given is the one you get.

A full bathroom is usually two to four weeks on site once your materials have arrived, and a tub-to-shower conversion that keeps the existing plumbing can be considerably quicker. Most of the timeline comes down to material lead times, so we order early to keep everything moving.
We remove the bath and put a low-threshold shower in its place, in the same footprint. Because the drain and supply usually stay where they are, the work stays quick and contained — and it changes how you use the room every single day.
More usable floor space, a great deal easier to clean, and a low or level step in that stays comfortable for years to come. In a smaller room it also makes the whole space feel considerably larger.
Usually, yes — and it's often the best choice. Keeping your fixtures on their existing drains avoids opening up the floor, which is where a good part of the saving in a remodel comes from.
If plumbing or electrical work is being moved or added, a permit and inspection are generally required in New Hampshire, while purely cosmetic work often needs neither. We'll confirm exactly what your plan calls for as part of your quote.
Low or level thresholds, blocking in the walls for properly fixed grab bars, slip-resistant floor tile, a built-in bench, and a handheld shower on a slide bar. Adding blocking while the walls are open costs very little and keeps the room comfortable for years.
